There I go, waiting on someone to come and free me from this hole I’m in, and that I worked so hard to see be done.
Here I am, stuck inside the confines of the master plan, the one which I am proud to play a part.
Twenty years go by, halfway to the middle of my life and all I hope to do
and all I hope to see before I’m through.
You come to find that so much time was wasted before you even had a
clue.
You wonder if what they said to you before your time was up was really true now that your time to play has come before you even knew who the players were and if you wanted to play a game that you would lose.
How long have I been waiting here? I want you to tell me, do you think its really true?
How long will I be waiting here? Please tell me, do you think the way I do?
People come and people go, and every once in a while you find someone who you can trust.
What’s the price of walking away from something real or something fun,
and can you even know until the damage is done?
Well, all the time you’ve wasted not knowing what you know today is never coming back to you no matter how you hope or how you pray.
And you know that your wasted time would not be wasted building what
you now find out you want.
To be doing what you’d like to do is the quickest way to seal your fate to a life filled with the things you’ve learned to hate.

She ran down to the water with a fire in her eyes that cut through the night and took him by surprise.
Tanned and wet, she looked just like a dream.

You have to wonder, how far can we see?

Looking back on it now, he can’t help but wonder where everything all went so wrong.
How could something so perfect have so many flaws, and why does time move so relentlessly along?
In the silence of the night out there in the street, all alone with no one to turn to, he cradles his aching head, dead with defeat, and cries out into the night the same old song,
“Woah, alright!”
