She ran down to the water with a fire in her eyes that cut through the night and took him by surprise.
Tanned and wet, she looked just like a dream.
Before he knew what was real, they were laying out on the banks screaming,
“Woah, alright!”

Stop! Baby listen up! Don’t be blinded by what you're dreaming of.
You have to wonder, how far can we see?
She said, “I don’t care, as long as you’re with me.”

Looking back on it now, he can’t help but wonder where everything all went so wrong.
